Description

Casa Buenavista is a unique holiday home and the owner has spared no expense on it. Words do not do justice to this property which has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Casa Buenavista is part of a small, quiet and exclusive community atop the small coastal hill known as "Tamango Hill". It lies on the coast road approximately 2.5km to the west of Nerja. The property is south-facing and uniquely situated at ground level with extensive panoramic views of mountains and sea, that include the town of Nerja.
The plot measures some 400mē and includes a large split-level, south-facing terraced area. The upper terrace incorporates a substantial fully equipped bar and a gazebo with a 7-seat Jacuzzi. The Gazebo has sliding windows for cooler winter evenings and offers superb coastal views over Nerja. Extensive patio and bar furnishings include tables, parasols, sun loungers, and seating for up to 16 people. The owner has installed a commercial beer system in the bar and can supply economic 20-litre beer casks.
There is a gated entrance to the overall development and in addition to easy street parking the property benefits from secure underground garaging for 2 cars.
The large communal pool is located close to the property and is open from approximately Easter until October but the exact times may vary so please seek confirmation if your booking dates are close to these times and if the pool is an important feature of your holiday.
The bedrooms are all of good size with the 2 double-bedded ones enjoying uninterrupted sea views to the south and patio door access to the upper terrace. A child's cot is included in the larger one. All bedrooms have spacious fitted wardrobes. There are 3 fully fitted bathrooms.... 2 en-suites and 1 independent, with 2 of them including walk-in showers and the other an over-bath shower.
The spacious living area has comfortable lounge and dining accommodation for 6 adults. Patio doors open onto the south-facing upper terrace and a large serving hatch is provided from the separate kitchen.
The well-equipped fitted kitchen includes oven, grill, 4-burner ceramic hob, microwave oven, expresso coffee maker, toaster, dish washer, washing machine / tumble drier, a large fridge/freezer, and all the utensils that one may expect from a holiday home of this calibre.
There is a bus service to Nerja so a hire car is not absolutely essential but is recommended for families.

Exterior: Terrace - enormous (280 sq metre) split-level terrace / patio area with access from lounge and from each double bedroom + a separate secure gated entrance from street. Bar and Gazebo with luxury 7-seat Jacuzzi. Patio table, patio chairs, sun loungers, parasols, barbecue, communal pool - the large pool approximately 50 metres away is shared by a small number of apartments. Pleasant garden area, gazebo and good size covered bar. Double garage + easy parking on street.
Heating & Ventilation: Air conditioning throughout the apartment which can also heat the rooms on winter evenings..
Other Facilities: Hair dryer, safe.
Entertainment: Satellite TV - Sky free view (also includes UK radio programmes). DVD.
Suitabilities: Suitable for all age groups, suitable for wheelchairs.
Permitted: Pets are not allowed, smoking is permitted - only on terraces please.
Location: Coastal, distance to town: 2.5km to centre of Nerja. Distance to beach: 600m to walk but physically about 100m. Southfacing, Car not vital but advisable - bus route on coast road below. Mountain views, sea views.
Local Activities: Cinema, climbing, cycling, diving, fishing, golf, hanggliding, historic sites, horse riding, mountain biking, museum, sailing, skiing, swimming, tennis, theatre, theme park, walking, water skiing, wind surfing.
Services: Cleaning - prior to arrival. Bed linen provided - changed weekly. Towels provided - changed weekly. Beach towels are not provided.

The preferred arrival / departure day is Sunday and at peak periods we need the apartment to be vacant for servicing from 10.00am until 3.00pm . HOWEVER, whenever possible, we try to be flexible with arrival / departure days and times so please ask.

The property owner also operates an excellent hostel / hotel in Nerja which can be useful when changeover times significantly conflict with arrival or departure times.
